What is an SPI LED Strip?

An SPI LED strip is a digitally addressable LED lighting solution integrated with SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) control chips. It supports pixel-level control, synchronized effects, and a wide range of dynamic animations, making it ideal for applications such as signage, stage lighting, architectural highlights, and gaming displays.

The strip communicates via clock (CLK) and data (DATA) lines and requires an SPI-compatible controller for customized programming and segment-based control.

The GL White SPI LED Strip uses smart WS2811 ICs, with each IC controlling 3 LEDs. It delivers smooth chasing, fading, and flashing effects, perfect for bars, clubs, and advertising displays.

Built with high-quality materials, the strip ensures durability and extended lifespan. Available in 2700K, 3000K, and 4000K color temperatures, it combines performance and reliability to meet a variety of lighting needs. (Click to see  How to apply 3M double-sided tape properly).

LED Strip Lights FAQs

What is Color Temperature?
Color temperature, measured in Kelvin (K), refers to the perceived color of a light source. Generally: Higher Kelvin values produce a whiter or bluish light. Lower Kelvin values produce a warmer or yellowish light. Read More >>

What is the difference between 12V and 24V LED strip lights?
The power supply and wiring for 24V LED strips need to handle higher voltage than those for 12V LED strips, enabling a longer run length for 24V LED strips due to less voltage drop. Read More >>

When To Choose High Voltage or Low Voltage LED Strip Lights?
Choosing between high voltage and low voltage LED strip lights depends on various factors such as the scope and type of your project, the degree of customization and control needed, and your budget. Read More >>
