What is an SPI LED Strip?
An SPI LED strip is a digitally addressable lighting solution that uses SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) protocol to enable pixel-level control and synchronized dynamic effects. It is ideal for signage, stage lighting, architectural accents, gaming setups, and other applications requiring customizable and vibrant light animations.
The strip operates through clock (CLK) and data (DATA) lines, and requires an SPI-compatible controller to program individual segments or pixels with precise brightness and color effects.
The GL RGB SPI LED Strip features advanced WS2812 RGBIC technology, with each IC controlling 3 LEDs for segment-level chasing effects. It offers smooth color transitions, dynamic patterns, and adjustable brightness and speed—perfect for parties, commercial installations, and interior decorative lighting.
This model is designed for dry indoor locations, featuring a durable IP65 coating that provides basic protection from dust and accidental moisture exposure—but it is not rated for wet or submerged environments. It performs reliably in living spaces, retail settings, and controlled indoor environments.
Whether you're enhancing a retail display or creating ambient effects at home, this LED strip delivers high brightness, long lifespan, and flexible control to meet diverse lighting needs.(Click to see How to apply 3M double-sided tape properly).

LED Strip Lights FAQs
What is Color Temperature?
Color temperature, measured in Kelvin (K), refers to the perceived color of a light source. Generally: Higher Kelvin values produce a whiter or bluish light. Lower Kelvin values produce a warmer or yellowish light. Read More >>
What is the difference between 12V and 24V LED strip lights?
The power supply and wiring for 24V LED strips need to handle higher voltage than those for 12V LED strips, enabling a longer run length for 24V LED strips due to less voltage drop. Read More >>
When To Choose High Voltage or Low Voltage LED Strip Lights?
Choosing between high voltage and low voltage LED strip lights depends on various factors such as the scope and type of your project, the degree of customization and control needed, and your budget. Read More >>
